JOB PURPOSE: Oversee the design and implementation of Invisible Children's s4s program activities alongside the Education Director and other key ICU personnel towards the attainment of desired program goals and overall ICU strategy using the existing policies and program guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates Invisible Children's s4s team to ensure free flow of information, activity implementation and program efficacy thorough regular staff meetings, reviews and motivation.
- Develops new approaches, ideas and proposals in line with existing needs as expressed on the ground, and forwards them to the Education Director for further discussions and agreement.
- Support in the development and review of Invisible Children Uganda's Country strategy alongside the Country program team in line with existing opportunities in the areas of operation as will be dictated by ICUs vision and mission.
- Monitors closely the s4s program expenditures against the available budget, including the application of adequate control procedures and methods including review of bills of quantities, drawings, bid documents, contract agreements and purchase request authorization in line with ICU guidelines.
- Carries out regular field supervision and assessment of all project sites where project funds, materials, and equipment are being utilized, and checks on progress and quality of work done as well as taking necessary actions.
- Builds effective communication networks and relationship with partner schools as well as partnering relationships between the various stakeholder groups/organizations within the area of ICU operation.
- Work with the Education Director and M&E officer towards the integration of M & E best practices into the s4s program using the existing tools.
- Establishes appropriate procedures for internal monitoring, smooth implementation, and reporting of project activities including to ensure replication of best practices and lessons learned in accordance with the program guidelines.
- In consultation with Human Resources department and the Education Director supports the recruitment of s4s departmental staff using established ICU recruitment guidelines and Uganda Labour Laws.
- Ensures annual staff appraisals are conducted, identifies staff training needs and follows up for appropriate action with the Education Director and the human Resources department recommendations for training and other capacity building measures;
- Coordinate with Finance, Logistics, Communications and other relevant offices to ensure timely delivery and reporting of program achievements as per the set timelines.
- Prepare and submit timely program reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
- A Bachelors Degree in, Education, Social sciences, Development Studies or a related field. Post graduate qualifications will be preferred.

2. Program Officer.

JOB PURPOSE: Support the implementation of Invisible Children's LSP activities in a holistic and coherent way to contribute to the achievement of Invisible Children's objectives using the existing policies and program guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Liaise with school authorities, local leaders and beneficiary families in ensuring smooth flow of activity implementation among the affected communities.
- Lead the LSP mentors in the student's selection process including but not limited to initial assessments and home visits, to ensure that set selection criteria is adhered to and submit shortlist of beneficiaries to the Program Manager for approval and award of scholarships.
- Support the Program Manager in capacity gap assessment and development of need based training proposals for LSP staff.
- Compile and submit detailed weekly, monthly and quarterly program reports to the Program Manager.
- Receive all referrals/requests for support from IC leadership and partners and put them to the Program Managers attention.
- Support the Program Manager in the project cycle management.
- Responsible for planning and deployment of mentors for field activities
- Liaise with relevant departments; Human Resources, Logistics and Finance on matters of LSP Administration.
- Supervise the process of all students' applications and screening to ensure that Administrative assistants create and manage all students' files using best practices.
- Help in the maintenance of the mentors-student's ratio; ensuring that the students are assigned to their mentors correctly, and/or redistributed equally in the absence of a mentor.
- Review all students/beneficiary situational reports for submission to the Program Manager.
- Oversee the process of compilation of student's fees structures with relevant data from respective schools and institutions and feed the data to the database before requests are sent out for approval.
- Support the Program Manager in the development of program monitoring tools and undertake day-to-day activity monitoring and support.
- The incumbent will also support in tracking program changes and ensuring that best practices are documented to ensure replication.
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:
- Holders of a Bachelors Degree in social sciences, psychology, education or a related field may apply. A Post Graduate qualification in a management related field is an added advantage.
- At least Four (4) years progressive work experience in a similar role for an NGO focusing on community/development work, psychosocial support, Child care, guidance and counseling will be an added advantage.

JOB PURPOSE: Support IC Uganda's program activities and operations through liaison, processing and dissemination of accurate information on Invisible Children's activities within Uganda to ensure efficacy and outreach with the aim of fostering positive relations with local communities, government, organizations and media outlets in line with ICU objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with the Director of Business and Communications and Programs Director Education to plan, develop, and implement ICU's PR strategies.
- Liaising with media houses, individuals, and other organizations often through IC Uganda's approved channels of communication and answering inquiries from them.
- Research, write, and distribute press releases to targeted media.
- Collect and analyze all media information that is relevant to IC Uganda's activities and where applicable, advise the communications department on them.
- Write and edit in-house magazines, case studies, speeches, articles, and reports for submission to targeted consumers. This includes IC Uganda's inter-office monthly newsletter, inter-office monthly reports, and the organization's quarterly report.
- Help produce publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films, and multimedia programs for IC Uganda.

- Organize events including: press commencements, conferences, exhibitions, open days, and press tours.

A. Role Title: Director of Finance (1 position)

Duties:

B. Role Title: Pharmacist COE (1 position)

Role definition: Review and monitor the implementation of systems and guidelines for providing Pharmaceutical services at COE, and manage the performance of COE staff in line with the pharmacy mission and Baylor-Uganda medical & psychosocial guidelines.

Duties:
1. Develop and monitor the implementation of annual COE plan for the pharmaceutical services and manage the budget in line with pharmacy mission and financial guidelines

2. Review and implement the capacity building plan (in terms of training, mentorship and coaching) at COE in line with the pharmacy mission and Baylor Uganda capacity building guidelines

4. Review and analyze the prescriptions data reports from COE to detect, verify root causes of errors and make Pharmaceutical recommendations to medical and professional staff on drug treatment in line with pharmacy guidelines.

Review and monitor the implementation of pharmacy targets for COE and write and submit quarterly reports to the coordinator pharmacy services in regard to the performance of the pharmacy at COE in line with Baylor Uganda-pharmacy’s mission

5. Organize the quarterly and monthly audits of pharmacy drug stocks at COE and monitor implementation of the recommendations from the auditors in line with financial and audit guidelines

6. Carry out operational research on pharmacovigilance surveillance issues at COE and prepare reports to National Drug Authority in line with the medical guidelines

Purpose of the post: Under the direct supervision of the Water and Sanitation Specialist Moroto, and the general guidance of the Chief Field Office Moroto and Chief WASH Kampala Office, the WASH Specialist is responsible for the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of water supply, sanitation and hygiene interventions in the eastern focus districts, as an integral part of the country Programme and Child Survival and Development goals.

Qualification and Experience:

Five (5) years professional work experience both at national and international level in water supply, sanitation and hygiene with experience in household sanitation and hygiene improvement, water quality testing, community based WASH facility management system, provision of water & sanitation to pastoral community, data collection and analysis, emergency preparedness and response.

4. He/she ensures that program objectives are met, all activities are responsive to the needs of the

Pathfinder International development within Uganda.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
1. Master’s degree in public health, social sciences or related field;
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing mid-large scale reproductive health programs in developing and transitioning countries;
3. Proven record of successful fund raising from diverse public and private sources,
4. Strong business development expertise, including proposal writing and negotiation skills;
5. Demonstrated experience in successfully fulfilling performance objectives, including the timely implementation and reporting of donor-funded program activities;
6. Willingness and ability to travel in-country up to 25% time and occasionally to the US
